Job Title: HR Payroll Clerk / HR Payroll Executive Department: Human Resources / Finance Reporting To: Payroll Manager / HR Manager Job Summary The HR Payroll Clerk will process and maintain payroll records for employees, support accurate payments, and ensure compliance with NBFC/company policies and statutory regulations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and basic Excel skills. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for employees, collecting and verifying time/attendance data. Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and other pay elements as per policy. Maintain and update payroll and employee records in HR Database. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, etc.). Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies. Support payroll audits, generate required reports, and assist management. Collaborate with HR/Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely salary payment. Maintain confidentiality of payroll information at all times. Qualifications Graduate in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field. Exposure to payroll processing or data entry preferred; fresher can apply. Proficient in MS Excel and basic payroll software tools. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential employee data.
