Job Title: HR Manager

Location: FPL Nippon Molymer India Private Limited

Position Overview

As part of our growth plan, we are seeking a seasoned HR professional who can establish the HR function and manage the full spectrum of HR and IR operations for our new manufacturing setup. The professional will be responsible for setting up and managing all HR functions at the plant level, covering end-to-end HR operations, industrial relations, and statutory compliance. The role requires a hands-on leader who can build HR systems and processes from the ground up and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and statutory requirements.

HR Setup & Operations

  • Establish HR policies, procedures, and systems for the new manufacturing plant.
  • Manage manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and induction for all levels (staff, operators, and management).
  • Drive employee engagement, training & development, and performance management processes.
  • Implement HRMS and ensure timely payroll processing.

Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain cordial and productive relations with employees, workmen, and local authorities.
  • Handle union and worker-related matters effectively and ensure industrial harmony.
  • Liaise with labour departments, government officials, and external stakeholders as required.

Employee Relations (ER)

  • Address employee grievances, counseling, and disciplinary matters.
  • Promote open communication and a positive work culture at the shop floor level.

Statutory Compliance & Licenses

  • Ensure full compliance with all labour laws, factory acts, and related statutory requirements.
  • Manage obtaining and renewal of factory and statutory licenses. Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per compliance norms.

Strategic HR

  • Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Contribute to workforce productivity, cost optimization, and retention strategies.
  • Build HR capability and a sustainable organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate in HR / IR / MSW / MBA (HR) from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR and IR within a manufacturing / plant environment.
  • Hands-on experience in handling factory-level HR, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, factories act, and related government regulations.
  • Experience in greenfield / plant startup projects will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build HR systems from scratch.

Compensation - Salary and benefits will be commensurate with industry standards and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
