Job Purpose: To lead and manage all HR-related functions including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, payroll coordination, labor management, and ensuring all statutory obligations like PF, ESIC, etc. are met in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals. Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, engineers, and site workers. Maintain HR policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures. Oversee onboarding, attendance, and leave management systems. Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all employees and labor. Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution. Liaise with labor contractors for workforce requirements. Maintain statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, gratuity, labor welfare fund, etc. Coordinate with payroll for salary disbursements and compliance deductions. Organize training, safety workshops, and team development activities. Conduct audits for HR documentation at sites and HO. Prepare HR MIS reports for management review. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or related field. 5+ years of HR experience in a construction or infrastructure company. Sound knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, CLRA, etc.) Good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to handle field/site-level labor issues. 2. Labour Contractor Manager / Payroll & Compliance Officer Position Title: Labour Contractor Manager / Payroll & Compliance Officer Location: [City / Site Location] Reporting To: HR Manager / Project Head Job Purpose: To manage relationships with labor contractors, ensure timely wage payments, and maintain complete statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, and other labor regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage onboarding and coordination with multiple labor contractors. Ensure daily attendance is recorded and verified across project sites. Verify wage sheets, overtime, and ensure accurate monthly payroll processing. Maintain all necessary documents – work orders, agreements, muster rolls. Process and maintain PF, ESIC, and other statutory deductions. Submit monthly challans, returns, and filings to relevant departments. Handle labor license applications and renewals under CLRA Act. Conduct periodic checks on labor camp hygiene, ID cards, PPE usage. Serve as liaison between site teams, HR, and accounts for labor-related concerns. Prepare compliance reports, labor deployment reports, and contractor evaluation. Requirements: Graduate (preferably B.Com, or background in HR/IR/Accounts). 3+ years of experience in payroll, labor compliance, or contractor management. Working knowledge of labor laws, PF & ESIC portals, wage regulations. Familiar with tools like MS Excel, Tally or any payroll software. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
