Roles and Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership

Collaborate directly with management to co-create the organizational roadmap, aligning workforce capability with business priorities.

* Anticipate future talent and leadership needs, integrating them into the companys strategic planning and financial frameworks.

2. Organizational and Leadership Development

* Strengthen the companys leadership fabric through succession planning, leadership identification, and capability development aligned to business goals.

* Guide teams and department heads to translate company vision into measurable performance and cultural outcomes.

3. Culture, Values, and Governance

* Act as a custodian of Water and Sharks values and ethos, ensuring every strategic HR initiative reflects the firms integrity, inclusivity, and excellence.

* Drive cultural integration across international offices to maintain a unified identity and performance mindset.

* Balance empathy with governance ensuring people decisions are strategic, ethical, and business-sound.

4. Strategic HR Design

* Develop long-term frameworks for organization structure, reward design, and performance management rooted in business logic rather than administrative routine.

* Align compensation, benefits, and recognition structures to motivate strategic contribution, not just task completion.

*Ensure HR analytics and insights are leveraged for management decisions, not just reporting.

5. Business and People Intelligence

* Bring a business lens to HR conversations understanding revenue drivers, cost management, and growth priorities to ensure HR interventions are commercially viable.

* Serve as an internal advisor to leadership on organizational behavior, leadership transitions, and strategic realignment during change or growth phases.
