Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Head from the Microfinance industry to lead our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge of microfinance operation, employee

relation, compliance, and people development strategies. This role requires a strategic leader who can design and implement HR policies, foster organizational culture, and align talent management with

business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire HR function across the organization.
  • Drive Talent acquisition, Retention, and Manpower Planning in line with business needs.
  • Formulate and implement HR policies, processes, and frameworks specific to the microfinance industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory & labor laws (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Develop and monitor key HR metrics attrition, productivity, performance evaluation.
  • Lead Employee Engagement, Training & Development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive culture-building, diversity, and employee well-being programs.
  • Manage Performance Management Systems (PMS) and ensure transparent appraisal processes.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievance redressal, and conflict management effectively.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on organizational development and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related specialization.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Microfinance / NBFC sector.
  • Strong understanding of microfinance operation, rural workforce management, and high volume manpower handling.
  • Proven experience in scaling HR systems and processes in a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance, and statutory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, communicaHon, and people management skills.
  • Ability to align HR strategy with business goals in a highly competetive industry
