HR Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist to support our human resources functions in the road transport industry. The ideal candidate will assist with end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding, documentation, payroll coordination, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth employee experience for both on-ground and office staff, including drivers, logistics personnel, and administrative teams. . Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end recruitment for driver, logistics, and admin roles Support onboarding processes, including document collection, induction, and asset allocation Maintain and update employee records and files (physical and digital) Assist with payroll data preparation and attendance tracking Ensure timely compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) Coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare programs Support grievance redressal and basic disciplinary procedures Track leave and manage HRIS/attendance systems Liaise with operations teams to address HR-related queries on the ground Assist in performance management and appraisal support Key Requirements: Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 6 months to 2 years of HR experience (preferably in logistics, transport, or related sectors) Understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS or attendance systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment Preferred: Experience handling a blue-collar workforce (drivers, helpers, Office staff) Knowledge of local transport labor regulations Knowledge of labour laws and company laws
