Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of office management practices. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and providing excellent support to both employees and management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support event planning for employee engagement activities and training sessions.
  • Manage calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments for HR personnel.
  • Provide executive administrative support, including typing, proofreading, and transcription of documents.
  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks related to HR functions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Coordinate projects related to HR initiatives, ensuring timelines are met and objectives achieved.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with calendar management using Microsoft Outlook Calendar.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette.
  • Solid administrative experience with an emphasis on office management practices.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience in event planning and project coordination is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DocuSign for electronic document management is advantageous.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents.
