Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance activities for our regional branches and associated institutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR practices with a focus on state-specific labor laws and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all our verticals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements specific to the region.
  • Conduct employee onboarding, induction programs, and ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employees for HR-related queries.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives customized for the cultural and regional workforce.
  • Address grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Actively participate in all events of the group, ensuring each segment is managed with utmost priority and the overall event runs seamlessly.

Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Maintain attendance records (including biometric and on-duty cases specific to field staff).
  • Coordinate payroll processing with accurate inclusion of leaves, deductions, and overtime.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and issue related clarifications to employees.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure adherence to West Bengal Shops & Establishments Act, Factories Act, and other state-specific labor laws.
  • Manage statutory compliances like PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, and TDS.

Performance Management & Training

  • Support in performance appraisal cycles and maintain appraisal records.
  • Identify training needs specific to regional staff and coordinate training programs.

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and documentation.
  • Draft official letters, circulars, and notices for operations.
  • Support management in preparing MIS reports and HR dashboards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA in HR preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience as an HR Executive or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and labor laws applicable in West Bengal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
