About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Compliance Executive to oversee statutory compliance and labor law obligations within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will ensure full adherence to labor regulations, manage statutory filings, maintain employee records, and liaise with government authorities.

This position requires a strong understanding of statutory compliance frameworks, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end statutory compliance under all applicable labor laws and factory legislations.
  • Ensure timely filing of returns and payments under the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (MLWF), PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, and Gratuity Acts.
  • Stay updated on statutory amendments and implement necessary changes in HR and compliance processes.
  • Prepare and process statutory challans and manage employee additions/deletions in compliance systems.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, returns, and declarations (e.g., Form 11, Form 5A, etc.).
  • Handle employee medical insurance including enrollment, renewal, and claim coordination.
  • Manage labor office notices, coordinate with authorities, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee attendance management, time office operations, and ensure HRMS data accuracy.
  • Support the payroll process by providing compliance inputs and ensuring statutory deductions are accurate.
  • Coordinate with manpower contractors to ensure their compliance with all statutory norms.
  • Handle internal and client compliance audits, ensuring proper documentation and record maintenance.
  • Assist in industrial relations and ensure adherence to factory legislation and labor welfare policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MSW (HR) / MLS (HR) or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or Labor Law.
  • 3–8 years of experience handling HR statutory compliance, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, LWF, and other applicable labor acts.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS systems, payroll coordination, and attendance tracking.
  • Strong documentation, record-keeping, and audit management skills.
  • Ability to handle labor inspections and government correspondence independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in multi-location compliance management.
  • Exposure to contract labor and vendor compliance audits.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Maharashtra labor laws and related statutory updates.
