Key Responsibilities: HR Audit & Compliance
- Conduct periodic audits of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, separation, and employee data management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable labour laws.
- Verify documentation, records, and employee files for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate adherence to internal HR policies, SOPs, and process guidelines. Process Review & Improvement
- Identify gaps or risks in HR workflows and propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Support the development and updating of HR audit checklists and control frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR teams to implement process improvements and ensure closure of audit findings. Reporting, Statutory Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks, and recommended actions.
- Track open audit issues and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain audit records and documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Track changes in labour laws and ensure timely updates to HR teams and processes.
Data Integrity & Quality Assurance / HRMS, System Controls & Data Integrity
- Conduct periodic data quality checks in HRMS and payroll system workflows.
- Validate employee records for accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency.
- Support analytics and data reviews required for compliance monitoring and internal assessments.
- Verify system access roles, rights, and authorization workflows. Coordination & Support
- Liaise with internal teams, statutory auditors, and compliance partners as required.
- Assist in internal and external HR compliance audits.
- Support HR leadership in implementing governance initiatives and and strengthening control mechanisms. MIS, Analytics & Dashboarding
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor HR KPIs, compliance metrics, and audit issue closure status.
- Conduct trend analysis on attrition, hiring delays, attendance patterns, payroll variances, and other HR indicators. Training & Awareness
- Conduct awareness sessions on HR audit expectations and compliance needs.
- Support development of SOPs, process manuals, and compliance checklists.
- Assist in communicating policy changes and ensuring alignment across HR functions
