JOB DESCRIPTION :- HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER

A Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility by managing staff, controlling supplies and budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key duties include creating cleaning schedules, hiring and training staff, inspecting work, ordering supplies, and coordinating with other departments to maintain a clean and organized workspace. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Core responsibilities

  • Staff management: Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Budget and inventory: Manage the department's budget, control costs, and oversee the ordering, stocktaking, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Quality assurance: Regularly inspect and monitor all office areas, including public spaces, offices, and restrooms, to ensure they meet the company's cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Health and safety: Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for daily operations.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Leadership and communication: The ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, provide clear instructions, and communicate professionally with staff and other departments is essential.
  • Organizational skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to maintain high standards of cleanliness and to identify and report any maintenance issues.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to address and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and potentially managing scheduling software.

Day-to-day duties

  • Inspecting cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as maintenance, to address any issues.
  • Managing daily staff assignments and work distribution.
  • Monitoring and refilling supplies as needed.

Salary :- Rs.14,000/- to Rs.18,000/-

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
