As the leader of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while managing a team of housekeeping professionals.
  • Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, including daily operations, staffing, and budget management
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the guest experience and maintain the property's standards
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service throughout the property
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all housekeeping functions

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Hotel/Housekeeping experience required, 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
  • Requires strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
