Role Overview

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping operations of the resort. The role requires maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort, while ensuring smooth coordination within the housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Plan, organize, and allocate daily cleaning tasks to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are well maintained.
  • Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and guest amenities; maintain accurate inventory and initiate timely procurement.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces regularly to ensure adherence to hygiene and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth room readiness and quick turnaround.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with hospitality norms.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare duty rosters, manage staff schedules, and oversee manpower utilization effectively.
  • Develop and train staff in cleaning techniques, grooming standards, and hospitality etiquette.
  • Ensure cost control through efficient use of resources and reduction of wastage.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on housekeeping operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management (specialization in Housekeeping preferred).
  • Minimum 7–8 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role in a resort or hotel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
  • High standards of grooming, discipline, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage guest complaints tactfully and ensure service recovery.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping software and MS Office applications.
  • Must be passionate about hospitality and committed to working in a natural, eco-luxury resort environment.
  • Willingness to commit for a minimum of two years with the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
