Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager – B2B

Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Sales

Job Summary

The Hotel Sales Manager (B2B) is responsible for developing and managing business-to-business relationships to maximize hotel revenue. The role focuses on securing corporate accounts, travel agency tie-ups, and MICE business through strategic sales initiatives, relationship management, and proactive client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Agency Sales (B2B):

  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel management companies, and event organizers.
  • Negotiate and finalize rate agreements, contracts, and partnerships with B2B clients.
  • Drive room nights and banquet sales from corporate accounts and B2B segments.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and account retention for repeat business.

Business Development:

  • Explore new B2B markets, corporate tie-ups, and consortium affiliations.
  • Organize hotel site visits, presentations, and networking meetings with decision-makers.
  • Represent the hotel at corporate meetings, trade shows, and business forums.

Sales Strategy & Reporting:

  • Develop and implement B2B-focused sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work with revenue management to optimize pricing and account contracts.
  • Coordinate with banquet and events teams for MICE bookings.
  • Collaborate with marketing for B2B campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Hospitality Management.
  • 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience in hotels or hospitality.
  • Strong corporate network and established travel industry connections.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage key accounts and deliver consistent revenue.
  • Familiarity with hotel sales systems (Opera, IDS, Salesforce, or similar).
