Horticulture Executive

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Horticulturist to manage and oversee landscape projects, plant care, and green space development across residential, commercial, and public spaces in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in plant science, landscape design, pest control, and sustainable gardening practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, and manage horticultural projects including gardens, green spaces, rooftop plantations, and vertical gardens.Supervise planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pruning schedules.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.Conduct regular site visits to assess plant health and soil quality.Implement pest and disease management strategies.Provide training and guidance to junior staff and gardeners.Maintain compliance with local environmental and municipal regulations.Develop sustainability strategies and promote eco-friendly practices.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in landscape or horticulture management.In-depth knowledge of local flora, seasonal plants, and climate-appropriate landscaping.Proficiency in horticultural tools, irrigation systems, and pest control methods.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.Ability to work in outdoor conditions across multiple sites in Mumbai.
