REGIONAL HEAD SOUTH / EAST

Location : Bangalore/ Chennai.

Role Overview

Regional Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship and Account Management:

  • Responsible for driving sustainable performance for the defined portfolio of sales agents and partners while engaging closely with the Tripjack regional & state sales teams and leadership.
  • Collaborate with on-ground partners and provide expertise, metrics, analysis, and build their capacities to drive business momentum and growth.
  • Build strong relationships with Tripjack sales teams and travel partners to help drive and grow business momentum.
  • Portfolio Management and Driving Growth:

  • Develop and execute region-specific business plans to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities and revenue streams across travel agents, aggregators, OTAs, and corporate accounts
  • Ensure competitive pricing, service differentiation, and a consistent value proposition to partners
  • Maintain high standards in reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management through CRM and internal tools
  • Contracting & Negotiating:

  • Networking, Deal initiation, contracting due diligence, negotiation & closing deal with clients
  • Business Data-driven Decision Making:

  • Analyze performance metrics and partner data to inform decisions and improve conversion rates, partner satisfaction, and revenue.
  • Building market intelligence, preparing geography-wise and service-wise sales plans, and achieving them
  • Regularly share actionable insights with internal teams to align product, marketing, and operations with market needs.
  • People Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales teams (including indirect/dotted-line reportees).
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, excellence, and customer-centricity.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to drive business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications and Experience required:

  • 6-12 years of robust experience in B2B Sales, partner management, key account management and business development roles
  • Experience of handling large teams and must have managed revenue or P&L responsibilities
  • Post Graduation in Business, preferably MBA from Tier I/II B-School
  • Work experience with bancassurance-sales or travel industry will be a strong added advantage.

  • Proven track record of consistently delivering business goals with a strong commercial acumen and execution focus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starter approach.
  • Ability to lead and inspire large, dispersed teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High resilience and comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic start-up ecosystem.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to translate insights into action.
