Hiring for Quality Assurance. (Asst. Mgr./Dy. Mgr./Manager)

The Quality Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality management system(QMS) of the laboratory in compliance with NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) standards and FSSAIregulations. The role ensures continuous improvement of processes, accurate testing, adherence toregulatory guidelines, and implementation of best practices to maintain accreditation and approvals.

Key Responsibilities

ï· Lead and manage the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) in line withISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.ï· Ensure strict compliance with NABL accreditation guidelines and FSSAI regulatorystandards.ï· Oversee document control, internal audits, management reviews, corrective & preventiveactions (CAPA), and proficiency testing.ï· Monitor and verify calibration, method validation, verification, and measurement traceabilityof laboratory instruments.ï· Train and guide technical staff on quality standards, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), andregulatory requirements.ï· Coordinate with NABL assessors, FSSAI inspectors, and other regulatory bodies duringaudits, surveillance, and renewals.ï· Ensure accurate record keeping, reporting, and maintenance of quality-related documentation.ï· Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and implement effective preventivemeasures.ï· Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of testingservices.ï· Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills

ï· Master's / Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry,Biotechnology, or related sciences.ï· Minimum 8â12 years of experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory, with at least 3â5years in a leadership/quality management role.ï· Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, FSSAI regulations, and laboratory qualitymanagement practices.ï· Hands-on experience in internal audits, method validation, equipment calibration, anddocumentation.ï· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.ï· Strong leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.ï· Proficiency in MS Office and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) preferred
