Job Summary

The Cluster HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions across multiple locations within a designated cluster. This role involves driving HR strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering employee engagement, talent management, compliance, and operational excellence in the fast-paced FMCG environment.

Role & responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals for the cluster.
    • Support business leaders in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management:

    • Lead recruitment efforts for the cluster, ensuring timely hiring of quality talent.
    • Oversee onboarding, nduction, and integration of new employees.
    • Manage succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee satisfaction.
    • Address employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
    • Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and drive initiatives to improve morale.
  • Performance Management:

    • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
    • Coach managers and supervisors on performance management and development plans.
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with L&D teams for employee upskilling.
  • Compliance & Administration:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements across the cluster.
    • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed.
    • Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and statutory requirements.
  • HR Operations:

    • Drive HR best practices and standardize processes across multiple sites.
    • Monitor HR metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.
    • Support organizational change initiatives and cultural transformation.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 15-18 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple locations or clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in India.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse teams and work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
