Job Description

The Helpdesk L1 Technical Engineer is responsible for providing first-line technical support to end users, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires excellent communication, basic technical knowledge, and a customer-centric approach to resolving IT problems.

Role & responsibilities

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support/helpdesk role.
  • Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and common enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Certifications like ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
  • Experience with Active Directory and basic user management.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.).
