Job Description

Pega Support Engineer / Pega Administrator (L2/L3)

Key Responsibilities

  • Pega environment administration across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod
  • Deployments, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, release coordination
  • Monitoring logs/alerts, platform stability and performance tracking
  • Production support (L2/L3), incident handling, RCA and preventive actions
  • Manage Pega security: access groups, roles, operators, rulesets
  • JVM troubleshooting: heap/thread dumps, GC analysis, tuning
  • App server config/support: WebSphere/Tomcat
  • DR support, backups, audits and compliance checks
  • On-call production support participation (as per rotation)

Must Have

  • 6+ years in

    Pega Administration / Pega Production Support

  • Pega PRPC/Pega Platform architecture understanding
  • Linux/Unix hands-on support
  • WebSphere and/or Tomcat experience
  • JVM performance tuning + heap/thread dump analysis
  • DB exposure: Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server

Preferred

  • CI/CD exposure, deployment automation
  • Pega certification: CSA/CSSA/CPDC
  • Experience in critical incident handling and strong communication
