Work Experience: 15+ years with a minimum of 4+ years of Managing on Roll Sales Team (company employed). He/ She should have experience of working in a blend of at least two of the following Industries, FMCG, Telecom (sales), Insurance, Pharma etc., and Exposure of handling State, Capital City or Multiple Districts.
Core Objective: Report to Sales Head- India (SH)/ National Sales Manager (NSM),
The State Head is responsible for Training & Mentoring the Business Development Executives (BDE’s)/ Sales Executives (SE’s) with product knowledge & Execution.
· Will be Responsible for Planning, Execution and Achievement of Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Volume & Revenue Targets set by the SH/ NSM
· State Head will effectively use one of the two Business Development Executives for Modern Trade, Specialty O/lets, Product Promotions post the first round of Meeting & Detailing to The Medical Fraternity.
· Hence One dedicated BDE/SE for Pharma Distributors – Gynecologists- Pharmacies
· The Second BDE/ SE for FMCG Distributor-Modern Trade-Specialty O/lets, Product Promotions
Market Sizing, Planning & Strategizing
· Identify, map, strategize market size of the addressable population (consumers),
· Identify, map, strategize market size of the Professional fraternity (Gynecologists, IVF Clinics, Hospitals, standalone Gynecologists clinics, Multi-Speciality Hospitals with Gynecology departments)
· Identify, map, strategize Chemist & Druggists, Pharmacy Stores (premium & chain stores),
· Identify, map, and strategize Modern Trade O/lets (Health & Glow, Nykaa, Reliance Smart Bazaar, Spencer’s Retail, other chain self-service stores). etc.,
· Identify, map, strategize Specialty O/lets (Spas, Boutiques, Yoga Studios, Women focused Gyms & Fitness Centers, Holistic Health Centres, Women’s social & recreation clubs) etc.,
Distribution Management
· To evaluate & onboard Distributors (Pharma & FMCG) by signing the Distributor Agreement with Terms & Conditions of (primary billing, stock holding, secondary billing, stock rotation, payment norms, product placement norms).
· To ensure healthy ROI for distributors and maintain strong relationships.
· To monitor inventory levels and replenishment cycles.
· To meet and engage with the Distributors & resolve issues which are related to the supply, credit, market, product, invoice, pricing, claims etc.
Market Execution- Company & New Product Launch
· To formulate the Beat Plan for the BDE’s/ SEs for meeting Gynecologists, Pharmacies
· To share & follow market visit plans to meet Gynecologists, Pharmacies, Modern Trade O/lets, Specialty O/lets
· To ensure thorough knowledge & confidence of BDE’s/ SEs Company & Product Pitch for detailing to Gynecologists & Pharmacies.
· To ensure the collaterals for the Gynecologists & pharmacy are deployed as per plan
· To ensure Categorization of the Gynecologists & Pharmacies for repeat visits
· To ensure placements of products, SKUs, visibility at the Gynecologists Clinics & Pharmacies.
· Drive product placements, visibility & conduct promotions at Modern Trade & Specialty O/lets.
· Expand Team & Distribution- Width to Tier 2 & Tier 3 Towns
· To conduct Cell Sales & Distribution Network
· To plan & conduct programs for awareness at Large Corporates with special sales activity.
Monitoring, Reporting, Reviews & MIS
· To ensure Primary, Secondary, Tertiary (off take) Volumes & Revenue data are maintained & reviewed.
· To be part of SHI/ NSM weekly reviews & Management reviews
· To conduct weekly reviews with BDE’s/ SEs to ensure planned Targets are met
· To review promotional activities and outcome.

· To conduct Training on new products (products, placement norms, category wise, outlet wise)
