Healthcare Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage healthcare projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, IT, and administrative staff, to define project requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or risks.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
• Implement and maintain PMO best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMO certification (e.g., PMP, PMP, or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the US healthcare sector.
• Proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Healthcare Management or related field.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare data analytics and reporting.
