Health Insurance - Bancassurance - 3.5 lacs

Responsible for driving health insurance business through partner bank branches by managing relationships, generating leads, converting sales, and ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve health insurance sales targets (new business, cross-sell, upsell) through assigned bank branches.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with bank branch staff, including RMs and branch managers.
• Conduct regular product training, refreshers, and joint customer calls with bank teams to increase health insurance penetration.
• Source leads from bank walk-in customers, existing account holders, and bank campaigns; ensure timely follow-up and closure.
• Ensure smooth end-to-end policy issuance, documentation, medicals (if any), endorsements, and renewals in coordination with operations teams.
• Monitor business mix, persistency, and policy quality; take corrective actions to reduce lapses, cancellations, and complaints.
• Adhere to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, including fair sales practices and complete/accurate disclosures.
• Provide timely MIS, branch-wise performance reports, and market feedback to the companys sales leadership.

Qualifications and experience

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
• 14 years of experience in Bancassurance/health insurance/banking or financial services sales; exposure to bank channels preferred.
• Good understanding of health insurance products, underwriting basics, and claims processes (or willingness to learn fast).
