Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Plan and control the inventory of material Handling Imports Replacement/Return of rejected material and regularization of transactions Ensures compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per ISO, AS9001. Contribution to the process of purchase planning and develop materials dept. plans Determine the appropriate source selection for materials, services, considering cost, quality and reliability. Implement latest strategy and process for achieving uninterrupted supply chain at best price and for best quality. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management. Should have knowledge on the inputs of the products being produced. Floating enquiries, collection of quotations and preparation of comparative statements. Releasing of purchase order/ follow up for timely delivery of indented material Arrangement for collection of goods from transport. Preparation of cost sheets project wise. Manage Day to Day activity of identifying suitable vendors, performing due diligence, preparation of bid docs, bid evaluation, negotiation, reviewing, approving procurement proposal. Preferred candidate profile (1) B. Tech Mechanical (2) Preference will be given from Defense and Aerospace, Manufacturing setup (3) Knowledge on Design Software will be added advantage (4) Knowledge on Finance, Budgeting, Suppliers, Vendors (5) Knowledge on ERP software
