Head - Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement

  : Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and credit terms Identify new suppliers and alternatives to reduce dependency and cost Assign invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory for project consumption
• Conduct research via the Internet, catalogs, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers
• Interview prospective suppliers either face-to-face or over the phone to determine prices, discounts, terms, etc
• Create spreadsheets with vendor & product or service comparisons of prospective suppliers to support management decisions Evaluate, develop, and refine procurement processes and models for efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation
• Partner cross-functionally with teams in finance, legal, information security, IT, and engineering to align procurement strategies with technical and operational needs
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk, including vendor evaluations and quarterly business reviews
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting efforts related to procurement and vendor spend; drive transparency and cost control

• Cost Optimization

  : Work closely with design, R&D, and finance to identify cost-saving opportunities

• Planning & Fulfillment

  : Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to the production team Implement systems for accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production alignment

• Vendor & Credit Management

  : Negotiate and manage credit cycles with suppliers to optimize working capital Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery SLAsCross-Border Operations: Stay updated with import regulations, duties, and compliance

• Team & Process Leadership

  : Build and manage a high-performing supply chain team Implement and improve SOPs, procurement systems (ERP), and supply chain visibility

• Requirements

  : 4-17 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably in appliances, electronics, or consumer durables Strong exposure to China and India sourcing
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain analytics Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
