Head- SCM, Digital Infrastructure /Space World Digital Solution

We are looking for an SCM Head, who will oversee the overall supply chain strategy and operations, for Active, Passive and software services, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor selection, and distribution of goods. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational objectives and key result areas. The SCM Head will also inspire and lead teams to achieve broader organizational goals as a member of the Leadership team

Key Responsibility

1. Strategic Leadership:
• Define and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive transformation initiatives for SCM digitization and efficiency.
• Lead cost awareness and practice in the organization.
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties in order to have a best-in- class cost and quality structure.
2. Procurement & Sourcing:
• Lead procurement of telecom equipment, infra, active equipment and services.
• Establish long-term supplier and OEM relationships
• Manage CapEx and OpEx procurement aligned with business plans, network rollout and maintenance plans.
• Provide guidance on vendor selection/qualification/negotiation and contracting.
• Collaborates with other departments, partners and other stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
3. Vendor Management & Compliance:
• Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
• Drive operational accuracy and efficiency within SCM.
• Adhere to the safety rules/regulations/objectives. Provide leadership to supply chain team to ensure safe working practices, promoting safety awareness.
• Complying to all policies, procedures and standard business practices for Supply Chain related operations including internal control and ISO 9000 standards.
• Conduct regular supplier audits with respect to the development and quality improvement to drive them to a proactive cost reduction.

Core competencies,

• Broad working experience in supply chain functions of planning, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics
• Hands on knowledge in production scheduling and relation to material supply and demand
• Hands-on knowledge working with suppliers relationships and technical knowledge is a must.
• Demonstrated analytical ability in all aspect of Supply Chain function
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must speak English very well.

• Education

  Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, technology, or engineering Degree in Management desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years in the supply chain function.
