Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Site Lead HR & Admin will play a pivotal role in driving human resource strategies and administrative excellence at the Singrauli site, ensuring alignment with the Coal to Chemical business unit’s operational goals. This role is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, managing site-specific HR operations, and ensuring seamless administrative support to enable efficient coal mining and production activities. The position supports Adani Group’s broader mission of achieving energy security for the nation while contributing to the sustainable development of the local community.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the Coal to Chemical business unit’s operational needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Lead talent acquisition efforts to support site operations, focusing on hiring skilled professionals for mining, production, and administrative roles. • Manage employee relations, ensuring a harmonious work environment and addressing grievances effectively. • Oversee site-specific training and development programs, including vocational training initiatives for local communities. • Ensure efficient administration of site facilities, including housing, transportation, and workplace infrastructure. • Collaborate with the Site Head to align HR and administrative functions with the business unit’s strategic priorities. • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, fostering a culture of inclusivity and performance. • Monitor and manage HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation. • Implement health and safety protocols for employees, aligning with the site’s operational standards. • Support community development programs, including education, healthcare, and vocational training, in line with Adani’s CSR initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience


    Required Qualifications & Experience • Proven experience of 10–15 years in HR and administrative roles, preferably in large-scale industrial or mining operations. • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and workforce management. • Strong background in managing site-specific HR operations and administrative functions. Educational Background • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • Master’s degree in HR Management or MBA with a specialization in HR (preferred). Years & Type of Experience • 10–15 years of experience in HR and administration, with a focus on site-based operations. • Demonstrated ability to manage HR functions in industrial or mining environments.
