Role Purpose

To lead the Web Development vertical at Haris&Co with a dual focus:

  1. Ensure consistent revenue generation and high-quality client delivery.
  2. Build a tech-first, performance-driven, and process-oriented department that integrates AI, automation, and innovation.


Core Responsibilities

🚀 

1. Revenue & Delivery Ownership

  • Achieve the monthly fresh revenue target of ₹3L, with an overall department goal of ₹10L.
  • Ensure 4 project conversions/month with a 1L AOV through inbound & paid sources.
  • Maintain a CPL and CAC that aligns with marketing budget efficiency.

2. Product Quality & Benchmarking

Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality KPIs:

  1. UI/UX Design Quality
  2. SEO Optimization
  3. Page Speed & Performance
  4. Code Quality & Standards
  5. Security Protocols
  6. E-commerce Functionality (Shopify/Custom)
  7. Content Quality
  8. Mobile Responsiveness
  9. Accessibility Standards
  10. Thorough Testing & Debugging

Client satisfaction (target rating: 4.5+/5) should reflect quality and on-time delivery.



👥 

3. Team Management & Hiring

  • Manage the dev team, including frontend, backend, UI/UX, and QA-QC.
  • Hire for critical roles this month: 

    QA-QC

     and 

    Shopify Developer

    .
  • Groom second-line leaders by involving them in new projects and cross-functional collaborations.



⚙️ 

4. Systems, Processes & Automation

  • Improve key processes:
  • Design Finalization & Approval Workflow
  • Project Scope Definition & Clarity
  • Identify and automate repetitive tasks (e.g., sprint planning, testing alerts, feedback loops).


📈 

5. Client Health & Retention

  • Maintain a monthly report of client churn and clients at risk.
  • Take preventive and recovery actions for critical clients (especially where QA-QC issues arise).
  • Improve TAT to under 1 month/project.


🤖 

6. AI Integration & Innovation

  • Implement tools like 

    Testim.io

     (AI Testing) and 

    Replit AI

    .
  • Introduce at least 1 new AI-enabled process/month to improve delivery or automation.


🧪 

7. R&D & Innovation

  • Experiment with 

    Framer

     and 

    React.js

     to launch new web products/services.
  • Maintain an innovation workflow:
  • Idea → Research → Prototyping → Development → Testing → Launch → Iteration
  • Maintain detailed documentation for each innovation in terms of objectives, tools, process, testing, and feedback loop.

8. Reporting & KPIs

  • Weekly and bi-weekly reporting on:
  • Feature Delivery Rate
  • Bug Fix Rate
  • Client Satisfaction Score
  • Monthly OKR progress review with leadership.

  • Drive team bonding initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative, learning-first, and ownership-driven culture.
