About This Role
To design, establish, and lead the Benne Training Academy — the internal capability engine that builds and certifies every Benne team member across stores, kitchens, and leadership levels. The role will create a scalable training framework to support rapid expansion across India and beyond, ensuring consistent product quality, service standards, and brand culture.

Key Responsibilities
Build & Institutionalize the Academy
- Design and launch the Benne Training Academy (vision, structure, curriculum, SOPs, certification framework).
- Develop training pathways for each role: Crew → Shift Leader → Store Manager → Area Coach → City Head.
- Create onboarding, technical, behavioral, and leadership modules.
- Define certification criteria and assessment methods (on-the-job, digital, and classroom).
2. Training Content & Systems
- Develop
standardized SOP-based training
for all product, service, and hygiene processes (aligned with Ops and QA). - Build digital learning assets — video, e-learning, microlearning modules — for use across stores and regions.
- Partner with Tech/ERP/HR to integrate training into employee lifecycle (LMS or Odoo HR).
- Maintain version control of all learning materials.
3.Delivery & Execution
- Set up
Train-the-Trainer programs
to certify internal trainers and store champions. - Create regional training hubs (starting with Mumbai + Delhi).
- Design training calendars aligned with store launch plans and business expansion.
- Ensure every new store opens with 100% certified staff.
4.Performance & Impact
- Define clear KPIs for training effectiveness (learning hours, certification rates, performance uplift, guest satisfaction, attrition).
- Work closely with Ops & HR to track productivity and retention improvements from training interventions.
- Establish continuous improvement feedback loops.
5.Culture & Leadership
- Embed Benne’s brand ethos and service philosophy into all programs.
- Be a culture ambassador — ensuring training reinforces brand pride, consistency, and guest-first mindset.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate (Hospitality / HR / Business); L&D certifications preferred.Experience:
10–15 years overall; at least 5 years in a training leadership role with a reputed QSR or food retail brand (McDonald’s, Starbucks, KFC, Dominos, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc.).- Must have led or co-built structured training systems across 100+ stores; ideally in India or other large emerging markets.
- L&D strategy, operations training, curriculum design, certification systems, SOP documentation, training audits.
- Excellent communicator, energetic trainer, strong stakeholder management, detail-oriented with bias for execution.
- Builder–operator: willing to roll up sleeves, set up from scratch, and scale fast. Passionate about hospitality and frontline excellence.
Success Metrics:
- Training Academy launched within 3–6 months.
- All new hires certified pre-store opening.
- 90%+ training completion across crew & management.
- Improvement in key operational metrics (speed, guest satisfaction, repeat rates).
- Reduction in new store ramp-up time.
