Head of Supply Chain Management

As the Head of Supply Chain Management at SSII, your role will involve managing, coordinating, and directing supply chain management activities to ensure the development, costing, schedules, and production priorities are maintained, delivering quality products that exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning for production and materials utilization to ensure on-time delivery meets 100% customer requested dates - Conducting component costing and supplier selection based on Capability/Financials, Quality, Capacity, Engagement, and Cost of Supplier - Managing all procurement activities, including indirect (MRO), local direct material, and oversea direct material - Measuring and managing supplier performance to ensure productivity, timely deliveries, high service levels, and adherence to quality specifications - Leading and supporting the Procurement team to ensure inventory control - Developing industry/market trend analysis, competitive situations, commodity price trends, and supply/demand situations - Participating in new product development and ensuring supply chain readiness - Assisting quality engineers to ensure product quality requirements are met - Assisting production engineers to ensure tooling, product, and production time frames are on track - Reviewing tooling and product quotes for accuracy and justification - Building SOP of supply chain management and carrying out other duties from COO - Complying with company rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook Qualifications for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or above with a strong background in modern supply chain management, engineering, and quality - At least 5 years of experience leading full supply chain functions managing at least USD 25 million annually - Ability to create discipline and an excellent teamwork environment - Clear verbal and written communication skills - Analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read engineering drawings Your knowledge, skills, and abilities should include problem-solving, decision-making, strategic thinking, communication skills, negotiation skills, and ethics in line with corporate guidelines.
