Head of Quality Control & Assurance (QC&A)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Control & Assurance to build and lead our quality vision. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the QC function from the ground up, spearheading the team, instilling a culture of quality excellence, and ensuring that every product, from raw material to finished goods, adheres to stringent quality parameters and relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's quality control strategy, policies, and procedures in alignment with business objectives.

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QC inspectors and technicians.

• Quality System Development: Design and implement a robust QC methodology across the entire manufacturing process.

• Standardization & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant Indian Standard (IS) specifications (e.g., IS 280, IS 2629), customer requirements, and internal benchmarks.

In-Process Testing: Establish a system of rigorous in-process checks and testing at each production stage.

• Supplier Quality Management: Oversee the quality of incoming raw materials and manage supplier performance.

• Final Inspection & Assurance: Manage the final inspection and testing of finished goods to guarantee they meet all specified mechanical, chemical, and physical properties.

• Non-Conformance Management: Lead investigations into quality failures and implement effective RCA and CAPA. • Calibration & Maintenance: Ensure all testing equipment, lab instruments, and gauges are regularly calibrated and maintained as per schedule

. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, test certificates, and reports. Present quality performance metrics to senior management.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
