OVERVIEW:

a Head of Production

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute production strategies aligned with company goals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Oversee end-to-end production operations including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Lead and mentor production teams, building a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, wastage, downtime, and cost control.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices, process automation, and best-in-class production methodologies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, R&D, and Supply Chain to maintain product standards and regulatory compliance.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across production facilities.
• Prepare and present regular production reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, capacity expansion, and technological upgrades.

PRE - REQUISITES:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience

  in

  production, packaging,

  or

  apparel

  industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
