Head of Product Development

As the Product Owner of Banking Products at the Company, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end product lifecycle and driving innovation to achieve positive results. Your key responsibilities will include: - Understanding customer pain points and financial operations to champion solutions that streamline workflows and remove friction. - Developing and executing a multi-year strategy to address evolving customer needs with Ready-to-plug in banking products. - Representing the customer voice within internal teams and leading the Product Engineering Team to discover innovative solutions. - Collaborating with the sales team to provide expert product insights during customer calls and foster successful deals. - Prioritizing product roadmap features by exercising sound judgment and making decisive trade-offs. - Partnering with the marketing team to position the accounting solution effectively in the competitive landscape. - Working closely with the support team to ensure seamless resolution of product-related issues. - Representing the Company's Banking Products as a domain expert at industry and partner events. - Leading, coaching, and mentoring Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Engineering Managers. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 20 years of experience in Techno Functional areas in the Banking Products Domain. - Minimum 10 years of experience in Java Stack of Products Development framework, leading a team of at least 50 people. - Reasonably good exposure/knowledge in any one or more AI tools. - Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil, with spoken knowledge in Hindi considered an additional positive. - Familiarity with digital devices such as Tablet, IPAD, WIFI, HOT Spot, and various ways to organize Pre-sales Presentation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office stack - PPT, Word, XLS in particular. Additionally, you should be a gadget freak, bold, fearless, restless, career-oriented, and willing to work under pressure for delivery completion without escalation to superiors.
