Head of Mergers and Acquisitions

We are looking for a seasoned M&A professional to lead and support the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions (domestic and international), including strategic planning, target identification, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-merger integration to support the company’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. M&A Strategy & Target Identification

2. • Define growth strategies and prioritize acquisition or JV opportunities.
3. • Conduct market research and competitor analysis for strategic targets.

4. Deal Execution

5. • Perform valuations and prepare investment memos and board presentations.
6. • Lead due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.

7. Transaction Structuring & Negotiations

8. • Structure deals aligning with legal and tax requirements.
9. • Negotiate agreements and ensure timely transaction closure.

10. Post-Merger Integration (PMI)

11. • Plan and execute integration with key stakeholders.
12. • Monitor synergies, transitions, and post-deal performance.

13. Internal & External Stakeholder Management

14. • Collaborate across functions for deal alignment.
15. • Manage relationships with advisors and strategic partners.

Key Requirements:

Education:

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred

Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, or Investment Banking
• Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
• Proven track record in handling end-to-end M&A lifecycle
