About the Opportunity

Deputy Head – Legal

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all legal operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage

  litigation, arbitration, labour & factory law matters

  , and industrial dispute resolutions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate

  commercial and project contracts

  .
• Partner with senior management to provide legal and strategic advisory.
• Drive

  regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and risk management

  initiatives.
• Implement

  legal tech solutions

  for automation, contract management, and digital workflows.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and external counsel; represent the organization in key forums.
• Champion ethical business practices and promote legal awareness within teams.

Preferred Profile

• 12+ years

  of legal experience, preferably in

  manufacturing / industrial / energy sectors.

• Strong command of

  labour laws, factory laws, and corporate governance.

• Proven experience in

  litigation, contracts, and strategic legal leadership.

• Prior exposure to

  unionized or large-scale plant setups

  preferred.
• Excellent communication, advisory, and stakeholder management skills.
