Head of Human Resources

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources department, including talent acquisition and retention, performance management, employee relations, policy development, and compliance with all statutory regulations. This is a senior-level position that will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the institution by aligning HR strategies with the institute's mission of academic excellence and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the institute's goals and growth.
  • Lead the entire recruitment and selection process for faculty and staff, ensuring the acquisition of high-calibre professionals.
  • Administer and enhance the performance appraisal system to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and AICTE regulations.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs for all employees.
  • Champion a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and high performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA in HR), or a related field from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the higher education sector is highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of statutory compliance, and AICTE norms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
