Head of Fundraising

Job Description

Position Overview: The Fundraising Head will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to support the Fund’s mission. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with investors, managing fundraising campaigns, and overseeing events to ensure successful fundraising outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with the Fund’s goals. Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors. Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and initiatives. Event and Conference Coordination: Participate in fundraising events, conferences etc. to further fundraising efforts Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze fundraising progress and investor engagement, providing regular reports to leadership. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop fundraising materials and promote campaigns. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new fundraising opportunities Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts and events. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in fundraising or related fields Proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives and investor relationship management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Experience: Experience in grant writing and familiarity with the grant application process. Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends in the nonprofit sector. Show more Show less
