Job Description

You will be responsible for setting up and leading a dedicated vertical for real estate funding syndication. This will involve defining the vertical's goals, KPIs, and roadmap. You will need to build a team to manage deal sourcing, financial structuring, and execution. Your role will include identifying high-potential real estate projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use categories. You will be required to conduct initial due diligence, including financial, legal, market, and operational assessments. It will also be your responsibility to evaluate project viability and risks, and prepare investment memos. Designing funding and restructuring strategies, including JV models, debt/equity infusion, or asset sales, will be a key part of your job. In this role, you will need to interface with banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, and special situation funds to secure project-level funding. Negotiating complex deal structures to maximize returns and minimize risk will be crucial. You will be expected to liaise with developers, lenders, investors, and regulatory authorities. Building relationships with ARCs, financial institutions, and public bodies will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to build a strong pipeline of opportunities in the distressed real estate space and represent the organization at industry forums and investment summits. Your role will also involve overseeing project progress and investor reporting for funded/revived projects. You will need to present regular updates to senior leadership on pipeline status, ROI, and strategic matters. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, with CA/MBA/CFA preferred. You must have a proven ability to lead teams, originate deals, and manage full-cycle real estate transactions. A deep understanding of distressed asset opportunities, financial structuring, and regulatory frameworks is essential. You should also have a strong network across developers, funding partners, and real estate professionals. This role offers a 6-day workweek with the option to work from home on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. While most of the work will be carried out from the office, some flexibility for remote work is provided.,
