Lucknow Posted on April 24, 2025 Position Overview: The Head of Alumni Association will lead the strategic development, coordination and growth of the Alumni Association for City Montessori School (CMS). This individual will play a pivotal role in building a vibrant, connected, and engaged alumni community, fostering lifelong relationships between CMS and its alumni. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Alumni Network Development: Establish and grow city-based, country-based, and international regional alumni chapters)(e.g., US and Canada, Europe, etc.). Identify and onboard key alumni leaders to act as coordinators for these chapters. Develop special interest groups of alumni. 2. Alumni Relations Strategy: Foster strong relationships between alumni and the school, emphasizing the importance of staying connected. Actively solicit feedback from alumni to ensure the association meets their needs and expectations. Highlight alumni success stories to inspire current students and other alumni. 3. Communication and Outreach: Develop and manage alumni-focused communications, including newsletters, social media campaigns, and website updates. Collaborate with the school’s marketing team to align alumni communication with overall school branding and messaging. Manage the school Alumni portal. Identify and coordinate the CMS internship program. 4. Alumni Data Collection and Management: Collaborate with teachers and administrators across 20 campuses to collect and update alumni data. Develop and maintain a comprehensive, organized, and secure alumni database. Use social media platforms and other online resources to identify and engage with alumni who have mentioned CMS in their profiles. Training of Campus Alumni Coordinators (teachers) and students (Alumni Coordinators) 5. Fundraising and Philanthropy: Partner with the school’s leadership to design and execute initiatives encouraging alumni contributions to the school. Cultivate long-term relationships with prominent alumni who may support the school through mentorship programs. 6.Event Planning and Engagement: Plan and organize alumni events such as reunions, networking sessions, and webinars, soth online and in-person. Coordinate with teachers, school staff, and chapter coordinators to facilitate seamless, event execution. Develop a strategy for regular and meaningful engagement with alumni through newsletters, social media, and events. Leveraging alumni involvement at major CMS events like Teachers’ Day and Thanksgiving Day. Required Skills: Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong ability to network, influence, and build long-term relationships. Experience with data management and social media tools for outreach and engagement. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and campuses. Expressive and articulate, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently. Experience: 08-12 years of experience in event planning and execution. Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Management, or Education). Experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with database management and CRM tools is an advantage.
