VR Power Equipments (P) Ltd., incorporated in December 2012, is a private limited company with diversified interests in telecom, energy, construction, and power products. The company provides a range of services, including telecom installation services, electrical and civil works of telecom sites, HVAC, plumbing, street lighting, and township maintenance. Additionally, VR Power Equipments is involved in government tenders and the installation of transformers and power products.

Role Description

Telecom Infrastructure Build Operations (TSP)

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all New Build operations (Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat & MPCG Circles) and ensure achievement of circle-wise rollout targets as per the business plan
• Drive execution excellence through close coordination with SCM, Projects, Finance, and Customer teams.
• Ensure adherence to planned timelines, quality benchmarks, and margin targets.
• Oversee vendor and manpower resource planning and mobilization.
• Regular review of circle performance and weekly project dashboards.
• Develop and mentor circle teams for independent and result-oriented functioning.

Targets (Aligned to Company Goals):

• Achieve planned rollout targets (site-wise/month-wise) as per TSP Business Plan FY 25–26 and FY 26–27.
• Deliver projects within approved budgets, ensuring at least

  18% net profitability

  for the business vertical.
• Ensure smooth coordination for timely invoicing, RFAI sign-offs, and cash-flow discipline across all circles.

Educational Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical / Electronics / Telecom / Civil Engineering)

  from a recognized university.

• MBA / PG Diploma in Project Management or Operations

  (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure rollout processes, vendor management, and project cost control.

Professional Experience:

• 20+ years

  of total experience in

  telecom infrastructure rollout/tower build/passive infra operations

  , with at least 8–10

  years in a senior leadership role

  managing large-scale rollout projects.
• Proven record of having worked with leading tower companies, EPC contractors, or OEMs (e.g., Indus Towers, Bharti Infratel, ATC, Summit, etc.).
• Deep exposure to:

a) Site acquisition to RFAI / RFT handover cycle.

b) SCM, vendor development, and field team management.

c) Cost optimization and margin protection in project execution.

d) Liaising with customers, statutory bodies, and internal functions (SCM / F&A / O&M).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership & decision-making abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and coordination skills with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Project Management Tools, and MIS reporting.
• High degree of integrity, accountability, and team motivation.
• Ability to handle multi-circle operations with disciplined execution.
