Job Overview:

Machinery Outfitting


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage outfitting of machinery, HVAC, pipes, valves, and auxiliary systems across ship blocks
  • Align outfitting plans with master construction schedules and ensure proper sequencing to avoid rework
  • Ensure compliance with class society and regulatory standards (ABS, DNV, IMO, SOLAS, IEC, etc.)
  • Collaborate with engineering, electrical, and quality teams to resolve design conflicts and improve block quality
  • Track progress, analyze performance data, and report milestones to senior leadership
  • Manage workforce planning, material readiness, safety protocols, and cost controls
  • Drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies and process optimization.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture (Master’s preferred)
  • 16+ years in shipbuilding, EPC, or offshore projects with minimum 6 years in a managerial role
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale outfitting projects in a high-demand environment
  • Strong knowledge of outfitting, class compliance, and marine quality assurance practices
  • Effective team leader with solid communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
