Role Overview

Head - Corporate Development


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the founders and senior leadership to shape the company’s long-term growth agenda.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities including

    mergers, acquisitions, investments, and partnerships

    within the consumer/consumer-tech ecosystem.
  • Drive

    market research, industry mapping, and competitive intelligence

    to identify potential targets and opportunities.
  • Lead

    financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring

    to support investment/M&A decisions.
  • Build and manage relationships with

    investors, bankers, advisors, and potential partners

    .
  • Support

    organic expansion initiatives

    including new category launches, entry into adjacencies, and expansion across channels/geographies.
  • Prepare and present

    investment memoranda, board materials, and strategic recommendations

    to senior management and the board.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Track

    emerging trends in consumer and consumer-tech sectors

    to proactively identify growth opportunities.



Requirements

  • Top tier educational pedigree with

    6–10 years of experience

    in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity/venture capital.
  • Strong exposure to

    consumer and/or consumer-tech sectors

    (transactions, investments, or strategy).
  • Demonstrated track record of working on small-mid sized ticket

    end-to-end M&A or investment deals

    (sourcing to closure).
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Ability to balance

    strategic vision

    with

    executional detail

    .
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; experience working directly with founders/senior leadership.
