Roles & Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive Corporate Affairs strategy that aligns with Vedanta’s business objectives, sustainability goals, and long-term growth vision.
• Build and sustain high-impact relationships with central, state, and local government officials to facilitate policy alignment, regulatory support, and operational continuity.
• Lead the advancement of our advocacy initiatives by spearheading engagement with key stakeholders along with senior advisors and ensure strategic alignment.
• Ensure proactive compliance with all applicable laws, licenses, and environmental regulations, ensuring timely renewals, zero non-compliance, and alignment with governance standards.
• Track emerging legislative and regulatory changes, assess their potential impact, and lead strategic interventions.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and sustainability teams to identify, assess, and mitigate policy-related risks, ensuring business continuity and reputational protection.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with industry bodies, NGOs, civil society organizations, and community leaders to enhance Vedanta’s social license to operate and contribute to inclusive development.

Education Qualification | Work-Ex| Desired Attributes

• Education Qualification - graduation in any field; with Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Communications, or a related field
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in high-impact sectors
• Strong knowledge of the Power sector industry
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and government processes, with a proven ability to navigate complex policy environments.
• Brings a sharp analytical mindset and a proactive approach to solving challenges and shaping long-term strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
