Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead our snack production kitchen. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality savory and/or sweet snack items, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and food safety. This role involves leading a team, designing new snack recipes, and optimizing production processes to meet customer demand and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and execute a creative and appealing snack menu
• Supervise and manage daily kitchen operations
• Lead and train kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and team cohesion
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent)
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Work closely with management on seasonal menus, special launches, and customer feedback
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and portioning of all snacks
• Innovate new snack concepts in line with trends and customer preferences (e.g., healthy, plant-based, artisanal)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a snack-focused or fast-casual environment
• Strong knowledge of snack preparation techniques (fried, baked, grilled, packaged, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage food costs, waste, and kitchen efficiency
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Creativity and passion for snacks and small bites

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-batch snack production or packaged food
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary trends (gluten-free, keto, vegan, etc.)
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment for snack production (e.g., dehydrators, fryers, ovens)
