Head Architect (Design& Liasoning) Mumbai, Malad East, Female

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head Architect with 8-10 years of extensive experience in architectural design, project management, and liaisoning with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee the architectural department, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards, comply with relevant regulations, and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Planning:

o Ensure designs align with the company’s vision, client requirements, and local building codes and regulations.

o Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, models, and specifications.

2. Project Management:

o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.

o Monitor progress, conduct site visits, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

3. Liaisoning:

o Handle all aspects of liaisoning, including providing all necessary documents required for clearance approval.

o Stay updated on changes in zoning laws, building codes, and other regulations that impact the architectural and construction industry.

o Communication with Design, Liaisoning Architect for smooth functioning.

o Communications with all Consultants for faster work and smooth operations.

o Co-ordination with the appointed design and liaisoning architects and other consultants.

4. Team Leadership:

o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, designers, and support staff.

o Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

o Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they meet their professional goals and contribute to the success of the projects.

5. Client Interaction:

o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into feasible design solutions.

o Present design concepts, progress updates, and project outcomes to clients.

o Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that exceed expectations.

6. Sustainability & Innovation:

o Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into architectural projects.

o Promote the use of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable construction practices.

7. Budgeting & Financial Management:

o Prepare project budgets and ensure that costs are managed effectively.

o Negotiate contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure cost-effective procurement of resources.

8. Compliance & Risk Management:

o Ensure all projects comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.

o Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. Additional certifications in project management, sustainable design, or related fields are a plus.
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and liaisoning, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
• Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of architectural principles, design trends, and construction methods.
• Strong understanding of zoning laws, building codes, and regulatory processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Other Requirements:
• Established network within government bodies, regulatory authorities, and the construction industry.
• Ability to travel to project sites and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
