Job Summary:

Head of Ad Sales (Branding + Performance)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ad sales strategy focused on both branding and performance marketing.
  • Drive monetization plans aligned with the company’s growth and revenue targets in the domestic market.
  • Lead pricing, positioning, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for AdTech products.
  • Own end-to-end revenue responsibility for the domestic Ad Sales vertical.
  • Build and manage key relationships with top-tier brands, media buying agencies, and performance marketers.
  • Drive long-term partnerships and negotiate high-value deals across verticals such as e-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, Auto, EdTech, etc.
  • Ensure delivery on sales KPIs, including monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing ad sales team across regions.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, high performance, and continuous learning.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, data, and operations teams to develop and refine advertising solutions.
  • Provide feedback to product teams to influence roadmap decisions based on market needs and advertiser feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving AdTech tools and platforms.
  • Represent the company at industry events, panels, and conferences.

Required skills:

  • 1- 5 years

    of experience in Ad Sales, with a significant part in the

    AdTech ecosystem

    .
  • Deep understanding of

    branding and performance advertising models

    , including programmatic, display, native, OTT, mobile, and video formats.
  • Strong network across

    advertisers, digital agencies, DSPs, SSPs, trading desks

    , and media planners.
  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding large revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing mid to large teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working in or selling for DSPs, SSPs, Ad Networks, or large digital publishers/platforms.
