Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic hardware systems and components. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of circuit design, embedded systems, and product development processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and high-performance hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium, OrCAD, or KiCad.
• Test, debug, and validate prototypes and final products.
• Select and evaluate electronic components for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate firmware with hardware platforms.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMI/EMC, RoHS, CE).
• Support manufacturing teams with test plans, troubleshooting, and production issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest innovations for new or existing products.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• [1–5+] years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and interface protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.).
• Experience with PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
• Proficient in using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.
• Ability to read and understand datasheets and component specifications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-speed PCB design or power electronics.
• Knowledge of FPGA or ASIC development.
• Familiarity with IoT, wireless communication (BLE, WiFi, LTE).
• Understanding of thermal and mechanical design considerations.
• Exposure to product certification and compliance processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
