Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure value for money while meeting high-quality standards and strict timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tenders.
• Manage project finances and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Measure and value work done on-site.
• Prepare interim and final payment applications and manage subcontractor payments.
• Evaluate and negotiate variations and change orders.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project team members.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses.
• Assist in procurement and selection of contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
• Participate in contract administration and dispute resolution if required.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• [X]+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control in the construction industry.
• Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proficient in cost estimating software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of contracts such as FIDIC, JCT, NEC (as relevant).
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure/commercial/residential projects.
• Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,780.61 - ₹43,236.69 per month
