Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Hardware and Firmware Engineer to join our team to design, develop, and optimize embedded systems for our product line. This role involves working on advanced imaging hardware, video processing, and networking firmware to support high-performance, reliable solutions. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Hardware Responsibilities: • Design and develop circuit boards for any systems including image sensors, video encoders, SoCs, memory, and interfaces. • Integrate high-speed interfaces such as MIPI, HDMI, and Ethernet. • Select and evaluate image sensors and related components. • Perform board bring-up, signal integrity analysis, and hardware debugging. • Ensure compliance with power, EMI/EMC, and thermal design requirements. Firmware Responsibilities: • Develop embedded firmware for video processing, encoding, and camera control using C/C++. • Implement communication protocols such as ONVIF, RTSP, HTTP, and proprietary IP-based streaming. • Develop or integrate motion detection, object tracking, or AI acceleration support. • Work with real-time operating systems or Linux-based platforms (e.g., OpenWRT or Buildroot). • Implement firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates and secure boot mechanisms. ⸻ Requirements: Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. • 5+ years of experience in embedded system design, preferably with video systems.
