Job Description – Gym Trainer

Department: Fitness

Shifts:

- Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

- Evening: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

(Shift allocation will depend on business requirement)

Position Overview:

The Gym Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality fitness training, ensuring member safety,

maintaining gym hygiene, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Member Training & Guidance

- Provide floor training and assist members.

- Demonstrate correct form and posture.

- Create basic workout routines.

- Monitor member progress.

2. Customer Experience

- Greet members warmly.

- Handle workout and machine-related queries.

- Maintain customer satisfaction.

3. Safety & Hygiene

- Ensure equipment sanitization.

- Report faulty equipment.

- Ensure safety guidelines are followed.

4. Operations & Discipline

- Maintain attendance logs.

- Follow SOPs and code of conduct.

- Support group classes if assigned.

5. Sales Support (Optional)

- Guide members on membership benefits.

- Support front desk in fitness assessments.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Certification in Fitness Training (ACE / K11 / ISSA / Gold’s Gym / equivalent).

- Knowledge of anatomy, exercises, and equipment.

- Good communication skills.

- Energetic, disciplined, and customer-oriented.

- Basic nutrition knowledge (preferred).

Experience:

0–3 years of experience. Freshers with certification eligible.
